Spreading Organic agriculture

Promoting the concept, philosophy, and practices of organic agriculture across all agricultural sectors, while organizing training and awareness programs focused on quality, control, and inspection of organic farming systems.

Standards and laws

COAE works to implement and comply with international and national standards and regulations related to organic and biodynamic agriculture and sustainable development, including Egyptian Law No. 12 of 2020, EU Organic Regulations (EU 2018/848 and related implementing rules), Demeter International Standards, Economy of Love (EoL) requirements, Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS), USDA National Organic Program (NOP), Japan Agricultural Standards (JAS), as well as other recognized international standards such as Naturland and Bio Suisse.

Awareness

Raising awareness among individuals about the principles, philosophy, and practices of organic agriculture, using various methods and frameworks. This includes highlighting its role in sustainable development and its positive impact on both individuals and society.

National and international cooperation

Collaborating with local, regional, and international organizations involved in accreditation, certification, monitoring, and auditing activities.

Certification steps of Farm and Firm

Registration, inspection, certification, and follow-up of farms, processing and packaging units, and factories involved in the production, manufacturing, or trade of organic products, in accordance with applicable general and specific regulations.
